Looks fantastic!! Quick question, is there a go to price known? So which price class are we looking at here?

Thanks in advance and keep up this awesome work.

Looks great, but I have a couple of questions. First is about the band. That is the part that often wears out on me, and from the USB plug, it seems that at least some of the functionality of the watch is in the band. If the band wears out, would it be replaceable, or would it ruin the entire watch? Secondly, do you have an estimated release date yet? This really looks amazing!

Hey Matt,

The band will likely be replaceable if it breaks or wears out. The Pine is set for release in late Q3 of 2013.

I had a few questions, you said there is going to be different memory sizes, if you had to estimate, about how much for each? Also, what about a color selection? Are we all just ganna have to deal with the silver? Maybe all black!

Hey Zach,

Yes, there will be numerous colors available, including black; the silver color is the flagship model.

I was just wondering how would you text from it?

We have designed the QWERTY keyboard so that it fits the screen perfectly and the buttons are about the same size as those on an iPhone; therefore it will be as easy as typing on an iPhone.

We're not aiming to sell the Pine to people that are seeking a device for for data-intensive texts like a university paper or a novel; more to the people that use it for less words (searching, texting, etc.). For that kind of use, the Pine is more than enough.

So does this come with phone service or are we supposed to set it up with our current one, or does it not require service?

Hi, is the watch waterproof?

Dear Micha,

The Pine is currently water-resistant; i.e. it won't be damaged under rain, sweat, or occasional water contact. We are however trying our best to make the watch waterproof.

Thank you for your interest and support,
