Is this waterproof? How long is the battery life? These are two very important features that have not even been mentioned.

Hey Rohan,

We are currently trying very hard to make the watch waterproof; what we know now is that it will at least be water-resistant; i.e. "splashproof". The battery is a 800mAh lithium ion battery; it offers up to five hours of talk time and up to five days on standby.

The website is still under construction; therefore, some information may be missing currently. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience.

Feel free to ask us any other questions,

- The Neptune Team

So an important question. Will a bluetooth headphone be included. Can't be talking on speakerphone all the time :)

Hey Karthik,

Yes, a bluetooth headset will be included; it will have a headphone jack on it as well so that you can plug in stereo headphones. You will see screenshots of it soon on the site.

Thanks,

"stunning pictures" from a 3.2mp camera? do you mean "stunning" as in "stunningly bad"? this is an unacceptably terrible spec for a devise so potentially awesome otherwise.

Hi Scott,

Thank you for your comment and interest in the Neptune Pine! Fortunately, nothing's written in stone yet; we will deeply consider changing the camera to a better one as a result.

at least there IS a camera, as opposed to the Pebble or the i'm Watch; or any other smartwatch for that matter

The Pine is an unlocked phone; so any activated micro-SIM card should work. The screen is a TFT capacitive touchscreen.

Hi Francisco,

Here are answers to your questions:

1 How it will be recharge by a wall adapter or by usb?

The Pine will come with a wall adapter and a USB extension cable. The watch can be directly plugged into any USB without any cable for power though.

2 How is the phone calls going to work? it is going to be with a sim card slot or will be working with your phone number and how is going to work internationally for other countries?

The Pine is currently planned to be an unlocked micro-SIM phone. Therefore, it should work with any activated micro-SIM card.

3 It will have a additional slots for micro sd or other type of memory card?

No, the Pine has three versions: 8GB, 16GB and 32GB; all of which are internal storage.

4 It will have an internal memory?

See question 3.

5 It will have Google Play Store or a Neptune Pine Store?

We are still working on that. Right now we are working very hard on a custom Neptune SDK but it is entirely possible that we opt for the Play Store instead as it already has a large database of applications.

6 Which apps are planned to be compatible with the Android OS

See question 5.

We hope that we have answered your questions well, feel free to ask more.
